HELLO, FRIENDS!

I know it’s been a little bit, I am sorry, but… There we go.

Right, brief one, especially after so long, but I’ve been having one of them fun depressed times where I could barely get up most of the time, so going out in the garden just wasn’t happening.

Anyway, here’s my plans for the next few weeks.

GARLIC!

It’s almost garlic planting season, so today I cleared the approximately 5 large weeds from my garlic box and have decided to go with about what I planyed last year. Except I forgot to label them, so it’ll just be random what I get.

This is the during, the two weeds I had already removed.

It’s not mostly fine.

A wooden box with an open top, approximately 1.5 meters square. It’s half full of pretty damp looking dirt, there are a few large weeds in it.
A couple of the weeds from before, but on a black surface.

Next stop: More compost. Need to refill this thing. Then planting. I have the garlic bulbs already, so it’s just getting the compost really.

Potatoes! Onions! Oh no!

I fucked up here.
Depression got me about the time I got the garlic out, so that was fine, but look at the mess that is/was where the potatoes and onions were/are.

Two wooden boxes, both overflowing with plants, in chaos, or maybe harmony…?

I can’t do anything with these right now, not physically able to, anyway. Planning is about all I can do.

What needs to be done:

  • weeds
  • recover any potatoes and onions that might have gotten through
  • get some more, finer, compost to go on top
  • I should probably look into when to plant onions from seeds… Gotta be around now, right..?
  • I think I might be able to get some seeds from the onions that are there, but I might not bother.

Anyway, that’s all for now.

Love you all, hqm
